Naqvi insures UAE -Visum problems will soon be resolved

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has acknowledged that Pakistanis are facing difficulty getting visas for the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Oman, but assured that the problems would soon be resolved.

“UAE Visa rejection has become a significant question. I meet with UAE’s Interior Minister on July 9, and I hope we find a solution to this,” Naqvi said, while I approached a collection at Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Monday.

He also highlighted the government’s efforts to improve the global location of the green passport and expressed optimism that the country’s passport would soon see a significant increase. “We are proud of our green passport, and in the future it will be a source of even greater pride,” he said.

Naqvi emphasized the importance of Karachi’s well -being for the overall progress of the country and declared, “If Karachi is healthy, Pakistan will be healthy.” He promised that the federal government would do everything to tackle the city’s growing challenges, especially crime and smuggling.

He also revealed that discussions are working on Nadra to integrate criminal items into the citizens’ national ID cards. “The safe urban project in Karachi is expected to reduce crime rates significantly after success with similar initiatives,” he added.

The Minister addressed the question of smuggling and acknowledged that although it has not been completely eradicated, Pakistan had only six coastguard boats to patrol its 1,002 kilometers of coastline. However, two additional boats have been added and further strengthening of the Coast Guard is planned.

He also admitted that the government had not made sufficient planning for water supply in major cities, but expressed hope for positive progress in the future.

Naqvi emphasized that peaceful work attacks are a fundamental right, but the government’s primary goal is to increase the national economy, which is currently a highest priority.

Naqvi further appreciated that the first ten days of Muharram went peacefully across the country thanks to the crucial role that all provinces played. “The government maintained close coordination with provincial authorities, minimized mobile network disorders and gave citizens relief,” he said.

As a conclusion, he assured himself that the government would crack down on the black market trade with dollars for the purpose of stabilizing the currency and improving the economy.
