Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said a comprehensive security plan for Muharram has been introduced to control misunderstandings and ensure improved monitoring.
He said this while visiting the central Imambargah Asna Ashari in G-6, Islamabad, Monday, where he reviewed security and other events. He maintained that safety is placed on a high alarm to avert any dishonest design of Feige enemies.
Naqvi said approval has also been awarded for the deployment of the Army into Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and all provinces at their request. He added that the army will remain available to support the civil administration of these regions.
In addition, he met with the administrators of Central Imambargah and asked about the events that the organizers expressed satisfaction. The Islamabad police briefed him as well.
