Carson HOCEVAR pulled IR by several drivers on Sunday night under Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the second race in the Nascar Cup Series 2025 season.
HOCEVAR finished in second place when a cautionary flag came out in the middle of the last lap. This meant that the driver, who was at the forefront at the time of caution, was declared the winner. This time it was Christopher Bell who won the race, with HOCEVAR and KYLE Larson behind him.

After the race, however, several drivers were seen talking to HOCEVAR. 22-year-old aggressive driving did not seem to go well with some of his colleagues.
“We are here to win races, not be a boy band and love each other and play in the playground together,” HOCEVAR said via NASCAR.COM. “So obviously there are learning lessons. You don’t want to p — someone from or frustrate someone and there are things I would clean up with certainty. But it just comes with learning.
“Again, I’m usually 40th, waiting for them to go down and hope they go down and I’m done in teens. So being ahead and getting stage points in both phases and getting a shot to win is something to keep my (head) tall.

Ross Chastain, Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch were among those responding to HOCEVAR’s racing.
When Blaney drove to first place, he received a shock from HOCEVAR on the lap 234. Blaney was sent spinning and a cautionary flag came out. Blaney was able to save his car and came back towards the front to finish in fourth place.
“I didn’t slow down,” Blaney said. “He was working out for me and he didn’t lift and just gave me a shot when I turned into [Turn] 1, and it spun me out. I was just glad I didn’t link one right back in everyone and was able to stay on the apron. “
Chastain had one of the fastest cars of the day. He refused to get into the details of their conversation.
Busch noted that HOCKEVAR had a lot of “close call” in the race.
“I mean, he didn’t even realize me, I had to lift, and he put me in the fence of two in the first phase,” he told NBC Sports. “So he just tries to connect holes and do the last second and last minute and create log -jam on your back. It’s just, do it at the end, you know, do it in the last 30 laps, not in the first 230”

It was HOCEVAR’S 45. NASCAR CUP series Race in his career and his seventh top 10 finish. It was the best finish he has had on the circuit.
He finished earlier in third place on Watkins Glen last year.
