The NASCAR CUP series Star Alex Bowman got a hard hit on Sunday under Fourkeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway.
The driver of Nr. 48 drove behind Cole Custer and Daniel Suarez on the lap 67 when Custer got loose and hit both Suarez and Bowman. Suarez and Custer spun while Chase Briscoe loosened and tried to move past the carnage in front of him. Austin Cindrric was at the bottom of Custer and seemed to have avoided disaster.

Bowman hit the wall head hard and jumped back down the field.
It took a short moment, but Bowman was able to leave the vehicle under its own power. The red flag was waved and the race was briefly put on hold as emergency staff worked to clean up the wreck and make sure every driver involved got off the track.
Bowman spoke with Amazon Prime video after leaving the Infield Care Center.

“Yes, it hurt a lot. Probably at the top of the board of hits I’ve taken,” he said. “Looks like the 41 came loose or the 2 came into him or something. At that time, I was just on the trip, I couldn’t do anything. Just, ‘oh—-, this is really bad.’
“Hate it. Hate it for our team. It’s been a really tough two months.”
