Josh Berry had a tough run on Talladega SuperSpeedway this weekend.
Berry and No. 21 Ford ended 26. In Jack Link’s 500. He finished all 188 laps and led 12 laps. He also suffered through a few events while on the field.

When he entered the Grobes, Berry accidentally hit one of Carson HOCEVAR’s Pit Crew members. The tire switch came around the outside of HOCEVAR’s pit box and was cut as Berry pulled into his booth.
Jarius Morehead, a former college football player, was able to withstand the touch of Berry and completed Pit Stop.

“I come from a football background. You get used to it,” he told Fox Sports’ Regan Smith, adding that he was “all good.”
Berry also had a Randy Johnson moment.
The vehicle hit a bird while he was on the race track and drove up to speeds of almost 190 km / hi steps 1 .. The bird was killed.
“I have certainly witnessed it before, and they can cause some injury,” Berry’s crew chief Miles Stanley told journalists after the race via Frontstretch. “They can create destruction and even shred some windshields and similar things.
“Many times when we come here for the first practice or qualification and so, we see birds flying out around the racetrack. So it’s not a big surprise that we ended up getting one on the windshield.”
Stanley said the bird strike did not affect the car’s performance too much.
Berry is in 21. In the NASCAR CUP SERIES position.
