NASCARS Connor Zilisch Poster Recovery Update After Breaking of Bone

The NASCAR XFINITY SERIES driver Connor Zilisch was still in the hospital on Tuesday when he recovered from a broken bone suffering from a fall in Victory Lane this weekend.

He seemed to have a good laugh after he showed an ironic bracelet he received from nurses. The yellow ribbon read “Fall Risk.”

“The bracelet I got in the hospital this morning BC.

Separately, he gave an update on how his recovery went.

“Wanted to give everyone a quick update,” he wrote on X. “Was Operation on my throat leg this morning to get a plate and screws to help with the healing process.

“Has been a tough couple of days for me mentally, but all the love that in guys has shown, has certainly helped. Thanks.”

Tumble took place after his sixth win in the 2025 season. This time it was at Watkins Glen International in New York. He climbed up the roof of his No. 88 to celebrate the victory. He slipped after his left foot caught in the driver’s side window Netting, and he tumbled on the tarmac.

Zilisch was ready to run in the Nascar Cup series Sunday on Watkins Glen. Trackhouse Racing withdrew # 87, which he was ready to compete in. His next XFinity Series start is scheduled for August 22 at Daytona International Speedway.

He missed a race earlier this season at Texas Motor Speedway after maintaining a back injury during a crash at Talladega SuperSpeedway. He has recorded 11 consecutive top-five finishes and five wins since his return and won four of the last five races.

He is currently seven points ahead of Justin Allgaier in the driver’s location. The 19-year-old has 12 top-five finishes and 14 top-10 finish this season.
