Ryan Blaney will be behind the steering wheel of the No. 12 team Penske car for the Coca-Cola 600 with BodyArmor Chill drinks, embrazoned on the cap on his vehicle. Blaney’s colleague NASCAR CUP SERIES -COLLEGE KYLE Larson will try to do “The Double.”
“The Double” is one of the toughest feats that any racing car driver could try to do during their careers. It involves driving the Indy 500 and then flying on a plane to Charlotte to Coca-Cola 600. Larson became one of five drivers to try “The Double” last year, but failed to reach it to the NASCAR race.
Blaney told Pakinomist Digital that it was “neat” to see Larson try this past year.
“It’s the biggest day in racing,” Blaney said. “You got Monaco early, then you got Indy and then we finish it with 600. I get up and see Monaco in the morning, I cheer on Penske -guys in 500, and then I get ready for it all.”

Conor Daly seems to be a name in more than just Indy 500 story
An attempt at “The Double” seemed to Pique Blaney’s interest considering that Team Penske has drivers competing on the Indy 500.
“But yes, that’s something I’ve always considered,” Blaney said. “You never know, maybe down the road if I get a chance. I’m with a good team that has a chance to do it, but we’ll see. You never know we’ll find out.”
Larson, John Andretti, Tony Stewart, Robby Gordon and Kurt Busch have all tried the brag. Stewart was the only driver out of the group who completed both races on the same day.
No driver has won neither race while doing the attempt.
Larson hopes changes will come on Sunday.
