Natasha Bedingfield feels “amazing” to see her songs still matter.
The singer, 43, was at Cirque du Soleils Luzia NYC premiere when she reflected on her own hits from two decades ago.
Bedingfield shared that she has still heard from her fans about the influence her uplifting 2004 -Hit Unwritten have on them today.
“The song is bigger than me and I love it,” she shared with People Magazine After saying watching the song continue to live its life “Continued in waves and I’m like a surfer. I’m just part of it.”
“So when I sing it, I just feel like I’m part of something happening and it’s a great feeling,” she added.
The Pocket full of sunshine Hitmaker – which has shows that have been created during the summer – Itherated that she feels “incredible” who receives love from her fans on the performances.
“Recently on shows, people often come away and say they feel like their inner child has been healed, and I love that,” Bedingfield told the publication.
She continued, “I feel like a Beatle right now because everyone just sings the song with so much giving up. And that’s exactly as the song says, you release your inhibitions. Everyone is and it becomes the song you scream at the top of your lungs. And that’s exactly what we imagined when we wrote it.”
Bedingfield continued to Gush about the various festival performances she has planned this year, including the Empowher Music Festival, Bonnaroo and Splendor Festival.
“I have so many festivals. It’s so exciting. My band is fantastic and I’ve been singing for so many years, so my show is just good. And everyone sings and it’s a good time.”
