Islamabad: The nation is celebrating Pakistan Day with patriotic zeal and innerness today (Sunday) with Aiwan-e-Sadr, hosting the iconic military parade to commemorate the Lahore Resolution in 1940, which provided a framework for the realization of the goal of a separate homeland for Muslims in South Asia.
President Asif Ali Zardari is the main guest of this year’s Pakistan Day Parade-Og to participate by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Services Chiefs and other Dignitaries-Aiwan-e-Sadr instead of Shakarparparian Parade Ground-and traditionally hosted the parade.
The day began with a 31-cannon and 21-canon’s honors in the federal capital and provinces respectively.
President Zardari, who approached the Millions of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets, approached the parade, who approached the parade, which also contained March Past of Military Personal as well as the Flypast from Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets.
“We have achieved freedom by sacrificing many victims,” he said, emphasizing the importance of Pakistan’s day.

When he noticed that the country is facing various geopolitical challenges, the state’s leader called the youth as a major capital of the country.
By touching the country’s foreign policy, the president said it is based on the principles of peace and stability.
He repeated the desire of further Pakistan to establish strong bonds to his neighboring country and the international community.
“On this day, we also remember our Kashmiri brothers who have long been victims of Indian atrocities,” he said, confirming Islamabad’s unwavering obligation to raise his voice to Kashmiris on all global forums.
“Our goal is to build a strong, modern Islamic welfare state,” he said, emphasizing the importance of protecting the country’s independence gained through countless victims.
“We will not hesitate to sacrifice for the protection and freedom of our motherland,” President Zardari declared. He also called on the nation to rise over differences and work towards a prosperous and peaceful Pakistan.
“We must create a Pakistan that is strong and developed,” he emphasized. The president also expanded congratulations with the successful organization of the Grand Parade.
President Zardari also promised to defeat the evil intentions of extremist terrorist organizations and referred to them as “Fitna al-Khawarij”. He confirmed that the whole nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces in the fight against terrorism.
“The threat of terrorism must be eradicated,” he emphasized. “The fifth generation of warlings is a significant challenge,” he added, highlighting modern security threats.
“We are a brave nation that is fully capable of overcoming challenges,” President Zardari claimed.
He reiterated that Pakistan will never hold back from sacrificing for the security of the country.
“We have given a strong reaction to both external and internal terrorism,” he noted, emphasizing Pakistan’s determination.
“India has always looked at Pakistan with animosity,” he noted, pointing out New Delhi’s dishonest intentions of Islamabad.
Meanwhile, in his Pakistan -day -message PM Shehbaz, we emphasized it with “real policies, dedicated efforts and national unity, we can achieve economic prosperity, maintain social justice and secure our rightful place among the nations of the world”.
The premiere noted that Pakistan Day “strengthens our collective will and acts as a strong reminder of the values of victims and endurance principles embedded in the very foundation of our country”.
“From a growing nation to a nuclear power, our journey is shaped by perseverance and unshakable determination. Still, this is not where we stop. It will take steadfast will, tireless efforts and a collective vision of transforming Pakistan into the nation imagined by our basic father, Muhammad Ali Jinnah,” he said.
President Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) and Service Chiefs extend inner congratulations to the nation with the 85th anniversary of Pakistan Day.
“On March 23, 1940, stands as a defining moment in our history-one day that crystallized our collective vision and set the course to create an independent homeland,” read the statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
“Rooted in faith, guided by hope and strengthened by resilience, this apartment shows the unshakable decision of the Pakistani people.
“Today, Pakistan stands as a responsible and resolute member of the global society – and advocates peace, stability and cooperation. As a united nation, we marry Renewed Hope and an unwavering obligation to endure wealth. We will continue to maintain and defend peace that defines our national character, ensuring that Pakistan remains a Beon of Harmony in the world,” added military’s media.
