Millions of Pakistanis are reminded of the country’s 75th Day of Independence today, where the festive festivities this year have become more important due to the extra weight of ‘Marka-E-Haq’ parties to honor the country’s recent military triumph against India.
The day began with a 31-canon’s honor in the federal capital and 21-gun greetings in provincial headquarters. Special prayers were held in mosques across the country and sought peace, solidarity and prosperity for the country.
Sellers in cities and cities sell flags, caps and green-white clothing, while vehicles and house roof proudly show the national emblem.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hoisted the national flag to mark the celebration of the independence day.
The most important flag Hejs Ceremony was held at the Pakistan monument – an iconic structure that represented the national unity and strength of the Pakistani peoples.
