Parliamentarians belonging to PML-N in the Punjab assembly.
Elder Sharif and her daughter met on Wednesday another group of parliamentarians from Punjab – a continuation of a number of such meetings – to seek their “unfiltered” feedback in terms of government performance and to remove their concerns if any.
He held separate meetings with parliamentarians from Pakpattan and Okara, Sheikhupura, Kasur and Nankana SaHib. According to those present, the MPAs were awarded the descent time to express their opinion sincerely.
Party MPAs actually forwarded toned complained to Main Nawaz Sharif to be left out of the decision -making process, even in issues related to their respective constituencies.
According to a participant, MPAs expressed, except for the aforementioned complaint, their qualms on the cold attitude of the bureaucracy. He said these terminating officials mislead the government with regard to them and explained that their mere proposals or concerns expressed to these government managers were presented to the Minister of Chief as a brave attempt at interference in the state’s question.
He said it was a standard tactic that was deployed by bureaucrats to keep them out of the information and decision loop.
He said the MPAs, besides the two complaints, were pretty much all the praises of the government and claimed that Maryam Nawaz’s performance has actually managed to resonate with Punjab’s population.
He said the complaint about not being taken on board was nothing new. “MPAs have expressed such complaints, even during Shehbaz Sharif’s time when he was minister of chief minister in the province.”
When asked what was the response from Nawaz on the complaints, he said the party president even took criticism in his idiosyncratic positive vein. He said he recognized the need to take the MPAs on board the questions relating to their constituencies.
He said Nawaz has also asked the MPAs to increase the connection with their voters. He said that Mian Nawaz asked the MPAs to seek suggestions from young people and nobles on the areas of local issues. He said the party president also asked MPAs to make sure that all the descended people affected by the anti-the-end-driven-driven were duly compensated. He said that Mian Nawaz also asked the party’s MPAs to adapt to the new demands and to give up the old conventional snobbish approach.
According to a party news announcement, PML-N President Nawaz Sharif said while talking to the assembly members, “Economic decline has turned to progress. Improvements in the economic indicators are improving Pakistan. We put Pakistan on the way to progress and prosperity by to improve its economy.
Sharif said, “Economic activities are rising with the reduction in the policy rate from 22 to 12 percent and the economy benefits. Rupee is stabilized and growth is rising. The stock exchange is at its highest level, inflation is falling.”
