Lahore:
As Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) stays up to another anti-government movement, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday promised to sip in the knob any attempt to create what he called a ” Artificial political crisis ”.
The former Prime Minister claimed that the people would no longer allow anyone to throw a wrench into the works of national progress. He emphasized that Pakistan’s progress will not be derailed by “groups that do not know the principles of politics and democracy”.
Nawaz Sharif spoke in his residence in Raiwind during a meeting with Senator Irfan Siddiqui, saying that the Pakistani people will no longer tolerate disturbances in the country’s path to development.
He also said that if the progress initiated in 2013 remained uninterrupted, Pakistan would not have required help from the IMF or any external financial support today.
“The country stands again on its feet at the grace of Allah, and the youth need a peaceful and evolving Pakistan where they can play their role according to their potential,” he said.
Nawaz called on PML-N legislators to actively postpone elements that try to spread instability both inside and outside parliament. He added that these groups lacked the ability to participate in a serious political dialogue or solve cases through mutual understanding.
He also emphasized the importance of PML-N parliamentarians maintaining strong relations with the public and playing an effective role in the legislative process.
Senator Irfan Siddiqui informed the PML-N president about the party’s performance in the Senate and its parliamentary strategy.
After negotiations between the government and the opposition fell apart, PTI renewed its efforts to create a magnificent alliance against the federal government. PTI Foundation Chairman Imran Khan instructed leaders to accelerate contact with other opposition parties for protests planned by EID.
