A wrestling -fight on the field during Wednesday evening’s match between Houston Rockets And Phoenix Suns resulted in two springs and a bloody player.
Houston’s Steven Adams and Phoenix’s Mason Plumlee Were both given double technical and pushed late in the second quarter after physical play during the net resulted in the players fought against each other to the ground.

“We were just tied up,” Plumlee said of the incident after the game. “He had been on the boards and done what he does, then just met him with physically and, yes, you all saw it.”

With approx. three minutes left in half, both NBA players jumped after a rebound when Adams and Plumlee locked arms. The Jostling continued, and Adams seemed to lift plumlee up from the track to the ground.
The shoe continued on the ground, where both players were separated by a mixture of coaches, teammates and officials.
“Look, everyone will see the clip that happened, but as if he is going for every rebound, and he does it, whether dirty or not,” Plumlee added. “I just felt they were more physical than us, so I just did a point to beat him on the glass.”

Plumlee left the court with a bleeding cut over the eyebrow, but he said it was “nothing bigger.”
Houston coach Ime Udoka said he was surprised by the decision to push out both players.
“It looked like they threw each other down,” he said. “They both fell down and whatever, came in a little wrestling fight. I didn’t think they would be thrown out for it.”

Suns coach Mike Budenholzer apparently agreed.
“It’s just two guys being tangled,” he said. “Both physical. Both challengers.”
Houston’s Jalen Green had 29 points to lead Rockets to a 111-104 victory over Phoenix, expanding the team’s winning line to four.
