Beal’s office in Phoenix was, to say the least, disappointing. That is why Suns gave him permission to talk to teams interested in a potential trade. But after this process in the last few weeks, both sides agreed on a buyout to allow Beal to go somewhere else.
Teams like Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Laker’s persecuted Beal, per. Espn. Reportedly, there were conversations with his representation for the past few weeks.
As part of the buyout, the report said Beal will give Suns $ 13.9 million of the $ 110 million left over the last two years of his covenant back to the franchise. Suns probably won’t hit their books with the remaining money in the next two seasons that pretty much extrapolate them over a few years.
