Memphis Grizzlies star Yes Morant may not have physically had a gun in his hand, but a gun-related gesture on the court has led to a NBA investigation, according to ESPN.
During Grizzlies ‘fight against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night, Morant was seen to create a gun movement against Warriors’ bench.
The law saw Stephen Curry and Daymond Green, two Golden State stars, visibly upset over the hardwood, with the latter trying to ask for the judge that something should be done to discipline morant.

It was not the only gun -related gesture at night when Buddy Hield from Warriors was also seen doing the same under the clip of morant that became viral.
Morant reinstated a photo from an X account showing that moment.
League officials will investigate both Morant and Hield after Tuesday night -fight and “talk to parties involved as soon as Wednesday,” ESPN reported.

Morant’s history of gun -related suspensions caused the guest to blast over the basketball world.
He was suspended in eight matches in March 2023 after burning a gun on social media at Strip Club Shotgun Willies outside Denver.
Then Morant was rooted in the first 25 games of the 2023-24 season after blinking a gun again on a live video on social media.

“Yes, Morant’s decision to once again exercise a firearm on social media is alarming and disturbing considering his similar behavior in March, for which he was already suspended eight games,” said NBA Commissioner Adam Silver at the time of his second suspension.
“The potential for other young people to emulate JAS’s behavior in particular. In these circumstances, we believe that a suspension of 25 games is appropriate and makes it clear that engaging in ruthless and irresponsible behavior with cannons will not be tolerated.
“For yes, basketball must take a back seat at this point. Before returning to the game, he will be obliged to formulate and fulfill a program with the league that directly addresses the circumstances that caused him to repeat this destructive behavior.”
Morant commented at the time and said he realized “how much hurt I have caused.”

The 25-year-old Point Guard has played in 46 games this season, an average of 22.7 points, 7.4 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 stealing per year. Battle while shooting 45.4% off the field.
Grizzlies sits sixth in Western Conference positions with a 44-32 record in what is a heated race towards the autumn period.
