About six weeks after being indicted for cocaine possession, resisting arrest and DUI property injury or personal injury, Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus, supposed to “challenge” about “alcohol/drug use.”
Jordan was arrested by the Maitland police in Florida on February 4, and Dashcam later showed that he was driving away from law enforcement before his vehicle was found on railway tracks.
According to TMZ Sports, referring to a recent submission of the court, Jordan’s attorneys are aiming to put him in a program of drug abuse and treatment of drug abuse and treatment intervention program.
The program would “not only benefit him personally, but also serve society by reducing the likelihood of future offenses,” the lawyers allegedly said.

Seminole County Sheriff’s Office Dashcam video showed Jordan in his Lamborghini Sports Utility Vehicle, who drove away from deputies before being arrested later.
Officers with Maitland Police Department found the vehicle Immobile on the tracks in the suburb with a commuting train approx. 10 minutes away. SUV’s deck was buried in dirt and cut from being spun repeatedly, according to an arrest report.
When Jordan was asked to get out of the vehicle after smelling alcohol, officials said they noticed his blurred speech and confusion. The arrest report said officers found a bag of what tested positively for cocaine in his pants.
“Bro, I’m Marcus Jordan. I’m Michael Jordan’s son,” he said to officers according to New York Post. “I’m not doing anything wrong. I’m just trying to get home. And I did a wrong turn, ok?”

The 34-year-old is the second most leading child of the former Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards Star. Marcus played high school basketball and later tried his hand at College Basketball at the University of Central Florida.

He ended up leaving the program in 2012 and trained with a bachelor’s degree at Rosen College of Hospitality Management in 2013.
Marcus has mostly laid low. He was thrown into the limelight about two years ago when he started dating Larsa Pippenex-wife to his father’s teammate Scottie Pippen. The relationship lasted for about two years when the couple broke down in 2024.

He has had a brush with the law in the past. He relied on no competition for disorderly behavior and opposed arrest in an incident in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2012. He was also indicted for hindering a police officer, but the indictment was abandoned as part of a plea of an agreement.
