Denver Nugget’s fired head coach Michael Malone and General Manager Calvin Booth on Tuesday, according to several reports.
David Abelman will reportedly be the temporary head coach.
The reported decision to shoot Malone is a shocking decision. Nuggets are 47-32 this season and are 1.5 games behind Los Angeles Lakers for No. 2 seeds in the Western Conference.
Nuggets have only three games left in the regular season before the playoffs begin. Denver has fought too late as they have lost their last four matches and have won only three of their last 10 matches.

Malone coached nuggets for nearly 10 seasons and led the franchise to their first NBA championship in 2023. Malone was 471-327 in his nugget career, and his 471 wins are most of any coach in the franchise history.
Booth was promoted to General Manager by 2020 after he was hired as assistant general manager in 2017, and was General Manager when the team won the NBA title in 2023.
