ESPN Reporter Tim McMahon made pointed comments on an episode of “The Hoop Collective” after Game 2 was done.

“Oh, God. Do you know what? Go away, draymond. Shut up, guy. Don’t play victim here. Don’t play the victim here. Stop doing flagrant things. We’re tired of it. We’re sick of making stupid, flags crap regularly. It’s not an agenda, Daymond,” McMahon said. “You get a break after break after break after break and you continue to push the line.

“It wasn’t an agenda to make you look angry when you hit your teammate on your face. It wasn’t an agenda to make you look angry when you grabbed Rudy Gberbert and put him in a sleeping grip. It wasn’t an agenda to make you look angry when you beat or smacked, or whatever you want to call it.”

McMahon also pushed back on the notion that Green had leaned into advice from the floor.

“Draymond is full of crap. He’s just so full of crap that his breath stinks. Like what are we talking about here, guy? Please,” he added.

Green was hit by the technical error in the second quarter of Game 2.

“I’m not an angry black man. I’m a very successful, trained black man with a big family and I’m great for basketball and great for what I do,” he said after the game. “The agenda to try to keep going to make me look like an angry black man is crazy. I’m tired of it. It’s ridiculous.”

He had two points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals in the game 3 -tab. He set out with 4:38 in the game.

Green has a long history of obvious and technical errors in the NBA.

He put Timberwolves Center Rudy Gobert in a choke team in the 2023-24 season. In the same season, he swung and hit Phoenix Suns Center Jusuf Nurkic in the face.

He beat Jordan Poole in a Warrior practice in 2022. He was suspended for Game 5 in the 2016 NBA final against Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron James constructed a comeback to win the championship.
