Daymond Green does not make many friends with fan bases, but a line was crossed on Wednesday night, according to his head coach.
Green, always one to initiate, is currently public enemy # 1 in Houston, as the Golden State Warriors face Rockets in the first round of the NBA final game.
This is hardly new territory for both teams. It was their fifth playoff meeting since the 2014-15 season that started the Warriors dynasty. Golden State has won all four of these series, including two Western Conference Finals (of which one Houston led, 3-2 in 2018).

So everyone on the field is already hated as it is. But it is still normal for green.
Under the Game 2 of the Series Pelted Rockets-Fans Green with “F — You Draymond” sang, and Warrior’s main coach Steve Kerr wasn’t thrilled.
“It’s not ideal when a quantity of song, ‘F you, Daymond.’ It’s just, I don’t know, “Kerr began. “I mean they did it in Boston a few years ago in the final. That’s what it is.
“Draymond, he has been around forever. He is a defense; he will always be in the mix; and because of his career, his championships, his fire, he will become a lightning rod and it is all part of it. I prefer if fans could use a little more estimates and remember that the guy has children. I don’t know, I’m just old school. Want to want to get the resistance, the resistance.
However, Green seemed completely undeveloped by them.

“It’s not original,” he said. “Has been there before, won a championship while it happened. So yes, it’s not really original.
“Can’t steal other people’s (song). It belongs to Boston. So I just continued to push.”
Green has always been known, as Kerr said “be in the mixture.” But it reached a head last season when he was suspended on two separate occasions.
The first one was in five matches after putting Minnesota Timberwolves Center Rudy Gobert in a choke team under a scrub. Shortly after he returned, he hit Jusuf Nurkic in the face and was suspended indefinitely. In another game last season, he was thrown out less than four minutes into it, and he usually finds himself near the top of the technical failure list.
