NCAA has officially changed its gender eligibility policies to ban all biological men from women’s sports one day after President Donald Trump signed an executive order to tackle the problem.
The governing body for university sports announced its new participation policy for transking student athletes on Thursday afternoon.
“A student athlete who is awarded a man at birth may not compete for a women’s team,” the new policy reads.
The new policy still allows biological women to compete for men’s teams.

The previous politics that had been in place in 2010 allowed biological men to compete in the female category after reviewing at least one year of testosterone oppression.

NCAA President Charlie Baker responded to the executive order in a statement later on Wednesday and said it gave a “clear, national standard” and that the NCAA board would review it and take steps to adapt the organization’s policy in the coming days .

“NCAA is an organization that consists of 1,100 colleges and universities in all 50 states that gather more than 530,000 student athletes,” the statement states. “We are convinced that clear, consistent and uniform standards of eligibility will best serve today’s student athletes instead of a patchwork of conflicting state laws and court decisions. To this end, President Trump’s order provides a clear, national standard.
“The NCAA Board of Governors is reviewing the executive order and will take the necessary steps to adapt NCAA policy in the coming days subject to further guidance from the administration. The association will continue to help promote welcome environments on campuses for all student athletes. We are ready To help schools when they look for ways to support all student athletes affected by changes in policy.
Baker dealt with earlier concerns about the issue of female athletes who were to share teams and changing rooms with trans athletes during a Senate Legal Committee’s consultation in December. Baker insisted that female athletes have the opportunity to find other homes if they are uncomfortable with sharing with transgender and that NCAA’s policies that allow trans athletes to compete against women are based on federal standards.

The previous politics has resulted in several lawsuits against NCAA and its member schools. Former NCAA swimmer and current Conservative activist Riley Gaines are currently leading a lawsuit about his experience of competing with and sharing a dressing room with Trans Swimmer Lia Thomas at the 2022 National Championships. She, along with several other female athletes, who has also been affected by trans -cluttering.
Another trial was brought on Tuesday night when three of Thomas’ former Upenn teammates came up with their own experiences of sharing a team and dressing room with Thomas and allegedly gassed by their university administrators and fed pro-trans ideology.

Trump’s Institute for Education (DOE) also launched a study of potential violations of title IX, which took place in the Upenn over the Thomas situation, San Jose State University and at Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) for separate events.
