NCAA Transfer Portal: Houston Basketball to lose another important contributor

Terrance Arceneaux was an important contributor from the bench to Houston Cougars for the past three seasons.

On Thursday, the second guard revealed that he intended to enter the transfer portal.

During the message, Arceneaux said the decision was centered on his hope of “starting a new chapter in my college -basketball journey.”

Arceneaux said in an Instagram post competing on Houston “has been part of my story that I will always carry with me.”

“I go away without bitterness, just growth, gratitude and a clear vision for where I’m heading next time,” he added. “Sometimes the road requires a turn and I have confidence in the process.”

Arceneaux appeared on only 11 games in the 2023-24 season due to an Achilles tendon injury.

Apart from Arceneaux’s departure, Houston is struggling to lose LJ Cryer, J’wan Roberts, Ja’vier Francis and Mylik Wilson, who have exhausted their college of college.
