What happens in the movie of Heartstopper?
The film picks up immediately after Hearstopper Season 3 final, with Nick and Charlie a seemingly inseparable couple.
But life tends to get in the way, and with Nick preparing to travel to the university, while Charlie finds new independence in school, they have to meet the reality of trying to maintain a long distance relationship. According to Netflix, “Doubt seizes and their relationship is facing its biggest challenge yet.”
The film will also focus on Nick and Charlie’s friends who “navigate up to ups and downs of love and friendship. Confronting the bittersweet challenges of growing up and moving forward”.
As you hope, Kit Connor and Joe Locke are back as teen-love birds self-self it was not guaranteed because their contracts had expired and the show had made them both in demand actors. Other role crews for what might be one of the best Netflix movies will be made soon.
