Over the past few days, speculation about a potential trailer fall has grown significantly, and fans are now convinced that an official teaser will be released in public over the next 24 to 48 hours. Actually fan -Inliness has been driven by two positions on one Stranger Things Instagram Broadcast Channel, who has suspected Netflix is preparing to make a larger message about the hit series’ final rate.
Last Friday (July 11), Broadcast Channel said, sprayed back to life after a nearly 18-month quiet magic form. The message, which you can see below, simply said “scan by signal”. Predictable, Stranger Things Fans began to theorize what this message could refer to, with many suggests (via Stranger Things Sub-Reddit and other online forums/apps on social media) that a trailer was in-depth.
Three days later, another message was uploaded to read: “Signal detected: Locking of 7-1-6.”
Not surprisingly, fans jumped to the conclusion that Netflix was not only ready to release Season 5’s first trailer, but that it would arrive on Wednesday, July 16. That’s because “7-1-6” is how July 16 is represented using the American calendar format.
The arrival of Stranger Things 5The first trailer is the only logical thing that Netflix can reveal at this time. It is already revealed the official release dates for Stranger Things Season 5 – Streaming Titan does it on Tudum 2025 at the end of May. I suppose the popular show’s devoted fanbase would be incredibly annoyed if the build -up of this great reveal is nothing bigger, so I am increasingly convinced that an actual teaser will be with us in the near future.
I’ve reached Netflix to comment on what teased and I’ll update this article if I receive an answer.
Why fans can’t agree on when Stranger Things 5’s first trailer could be released
While there is evidence pointing to a trailer for one of the best Netflix shows’ fifth and final season arriving on July 16, some believe it will be released one day earlier.
There are indications that this can also be true. First, Instagram Fan Account Strangerthingsnetfliix suggested that the teaser would fall online on July 15, also called (at the time of publication). Usually something like this would not be taken seriously. However, according to Netflix Junkie and The Stranger Things updates X/Twitter account, Netflix’s South African PR -Division, however, liked the post on the aforementioned fan account. Of course, Netflix South Africa could have done so to mislead fans ahead of the trailer’s actual launch on July 16, but I doubt this is the case.
The second major evidence is that July 15 marks the nine-year anniversary since Stranger Things‘First season debuted on the world’s best streaming service. It would be a suitable tribute to one of the biggest Netflix TV originals of all time if a teaser for its last season was released today. However, I think fans are more likely to believe what has been laid out on the official Stranger Things‘Instagram Broadcast Channel over any fan account. So don’t be surprised if a teaser is released on July 16 and not today.
