Netflix has reportedly pulled the plug on its deal with millions of dollars with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Several sources have revealed that the streaming giant has no plan to renew Royal Par’s Deal, which will be completed later this year.
Although Season 2 of Meghan’s lifestyle show has already been announced on Netflix, it is said to be Sussexes’ last deal on the platform.
The source told Radaronline That Meghan “had everything to go for her, name, platform and advertising”, “The viewing numbers for the show were gloomy.”
They added, “This deal is dead.”
In addition, the source revealed that this could lead to a financial disaster for Sussexes, saying, “Meghan and Harry depend on this agreement to maintain the maintenance of their $ 29 million mansion and their huge selection of staff.”
“Without it, and without massive limiting their expenses, they could be on their way to bankruptcy,” the source explained.
In addition, an insider from Netflix has explained that although there was “curiosity” about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry originally, who contributed to Netflix with their hit Harry & Meghan documentary and produced too Heart of Invictus, Polo And more, now they have simply become a “background noise.”
“There was first curiosity about them, but it’s evaporated. They’ve gone from buzzy to background noise,” the source said.
Now Netflix has “zero interest in pursuing additional projects” with the couple.
The source said, “They are just waiting for the credits to roll on this unfortunate chapter.”
“Bosses sees that he ordered more content from this pair a total waste of money,” they noted.
