Some filmmakers become legends, and perhaps the most legendary filmmaker of all Alfred Hitchcock is. And now many of his most iconic films and films are inspired by ‘Master of Suspense’ to Netflix.
One of the movies you can stream from June 1st is happening my favorite Hitchcock movie, The birds. Even decades it is a master class in excitement and creeping fear, and I still get fear when I see more than a few black birds in real life.

Which Hitchcock movie will you be able to stream?
While Netflix has not revealed the entire list of Hitchcock movies that will be made available in the collection, we know that five other masterpieces from the filmmaker are added.
These include Vertigo, rear window, madness, the man who knew too much, family plot and “more”. Netflix also includes movies that are heavily influenced by Hitchcock’s work including Us and barbaricas well as a narrative function called Hitchcock About his work and inheritance directed by Sacha Gervasi.
It will be interesting to see if the feature also talks about his cruelty: Hitchcock may have been a great instructor, but as the Atlantic carefully expressed it, he was “strict with – and sometimes even sadistic to – his female driver”.
If you’re in New York or intend to be, Netflix also presents a Hitchcock special at Paris Theater from May 16 to June 29. ‘Hitch! The original cinema infuer ‘is a six-week screening of over 50 films, including 36 directed by Hitchcock himself and more than a dozen several films carrying his influence, made in collaboration with him or in tribute to his style.
