A week has gone (at the time of writing) since Wednesday Season 2 Part 1 was released and left us mulling over its cliff-bugs ending.

Look at
Published today (August 14), Wednesday Season 2’s latest teaser reveals Jenna Ortega’s eponymous heroine is not dead. No one expected her to perish after her life -threatening reunion with Tyler in this season’s fourth chapter. Nevertheless, it is good to see that Netflix will not pull this reveal out for any longer time.
What is A surprise, however, is the return of a fan-favorite character from Wednesday” s first season. Larissa Weems, Nevermore Academy’s former principal, is back!
Well, not from the dead. Weems, who will be played by Gwendoline Christie once again, was murdered by Christina Riccis Laurel Gates in last season’s seventh episode. As Co-ShowRunner Alfred Gough told Tudum.com: “No one in our world is really dead dead,” so maybe we should have expected her to return. “
So how do weems live in some form anyway? Long story Short: Weems is Wednesday’s new Spirit Guide. Essentially, she replaces Goody Addams, one of Wednesday’s distant relatives who performed a similar role in one of the best Netflix shows’ debut season.

Judging by the other glimpses we see in season 2 Part 2’s trailer, Wednesday and Weems’ new and decidedly troubled dynamic will play a pretty important role in the next four episodes. Admittedly, it is unclear how weems will actually help Wednesday to stop Tyler’s plan – ie. to kill him and Wednesday’s Bestie Enid Sinclair, whose death was put in front and center of Wednesday Season 2 Part 1’s trailer and history. But hey, Wednesday needs all the help she can get.
There is much more that Volume 2’s trailer teases. From a predictably creepy Halloween party and another Wednesday-Uncle Team-up, to several Addams family secrets that are potentially revealed in typically shocking way and Wednesday’s attempt to stop Tyler once and for all, fans will not miss the second half of this season when finally released on the world’s best streaming service.
When will it be? I’m glad you asked. Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 arrives fully Wednesday, September 3. Make sure you have booked the day off – or, if you are on your school holidays, take your favorite seat on the couch early – to see all four episodes as soon as they fall.
This is not the end of the line for WednesdayEither. With over 100 million views – and counting! – spread over its two seasons to date, Netflix’s decision to renew Wednesday In a third season, this year’s least shocking news was. Let’s hope season 2 Volume 2’s finale sets up more creepy and boiling events that come in future rates.
