Nevada beat Connecticut 8-2 in the Little League World Series semi-final Saturday and created a title game against Taiwan on Sunday.
Garrett Gallegos homes and threw five strong laps to lead Nevada to the victory.

Grayson Miranda had a key bat in Nevada’s three-race first inning. With the bases loaded and a 0-2 count, Miranda set off from several seats. After a wild pitch that was leased Nevada’s first race, Grayson ran on the bat’s 12th pitch-in two more with a single to the right field.
Down 4-2 in the fifth, Fairfield, Connecticut, teams team runners on first and second with one out. But Ben Herbst, who rounded the third, was caught in an overview. Garrett then recorded his eighth strike and ended the lap.

In the international semi-final at Lamate Stadium, Liu Wei-Heng threw 5 1/3 shutout innings to help Taiwan a 1-0 win over Aruba.
The game’s only race came after Chen Shi-Hong opened the third round with a full counting hike. He advanced on a passed ball and a single and then scored on a wild thread from third Baseman Liam Peña Caraballo.
