- More pictures of Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 appear
- The phones have sporty a thinner design
- Samsung’s tri-fold phone can be launched later
We expect the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 to be revealed at the next unpacked event scheduled for July 9, and some fresh leaks have shed light on what these foldable ones can look like and when we might buy them.
Known Tipster @vleaks (via notebookcheck) have added a few unofficial reproductions to the pile of images we’ve already seen when it comes to these foldable-but they show a few new angles worth looking at.
These angles really show how thin these folders are likely to be – Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be especially thinner than the current Galaxy Z Fold 6 launched in July 2024.
The pictures also give us an idea of the camera configurations on these phones, and when it comes to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, we can see that the punchhole camera is back on the main display. On Z Fold 6, this camera was hidden under the screen.
Tri-fold wait
These reproductions are not the only fresh leaks we need to pass on these foldable: Another widely recognized tipster, instant digital (via Android headlines), say both Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 will be sold in August after their July reveal.
It seems that there may be a longer wait for the tri-fold handset Samsung has previously teased. According to the same source, this handset will also be announced fully in July – but will not be sold until October.
It fits in with previously scraped about the phone arriving later than the standard, double window foldable and makes sense considering that the tri-fold becomes more difficult to construct and roll out.
We are still waiting to see how far available this phone will be, while rumors suggest it will be called the Galaxy G Fold. Everyone should be clearer on Wednesday, July 9 – and of course we cover all the news live.
