- Lucasfilm has released the last trailer to Andor Season 2
- Star Wars -Fans think it teases a possible look from Darth Vader
- The teaser also includes a reference to Rogue One‘s official trailer
There are less than four weeks left until Andor Season 2 is released – and like London buses, after we have been waiting for so long for a trailer, we have received two in quick order.
That’s right, exactly one month (at the time of publication) since Andor Season 2’s first trailer debuted worldwide on February 24, Lucasfilm has released one last teaser before the show returns.
It is also a more tension -filled trailer than its predecessor, who speaks to the increased efforts that play when the embryonic rebel alliance and Galactic Empire’s biggest players position themselves for the upcoming matches.
Look at
The trailer’s runtime comes in on a snapped 82 seconds, but there is a lot to pack from the shooting within. Sure there are several scenes and clips from the acclaimed Star Wars series’ first season 2 trailer, but there is enough new material to get our appetite in front of the upcoming entry Disney+ debut.
The trailer has been live for less than two hours (again, at the time of writing), but there is a specific clip that is dominated fan discussions in the immediate demand for its release. In fact, Dedra Meero, one of the empire’s imperial security bigwigs at 0:52, is seen one of the empire’s imperial security bigwigs, suggesting she is struggling to breathe.
Star Wars -Relief does not need another invitation to risk a guess about what’s going on. As many have pointed out a few Reddit threads, it seems that Meero is being forced by … someone.
It raises the question: If Meero is forced, who is the probable guilty? There is only one person known to squeeze the air out of people’s necks: Darth Vader.
Is the legendary Sith Lord of the Star Wars -Franchise to make a short como in Andor‘s second season, then? Perhaps. After all, he played a narrative como in one of the best Disney+ Shows’ Soon-to-Be-Subject Film Star Wars: Rogue Onewhich actually came out in 2016 but will pick up where Andor Season 2’s story leaves. Vader knocks around at this time on the Star Wars timeline, so I would not rule out an appearance from the man previously known as Anakin Skywalker.
That said, other fans think Meero simply has a panic attack. It is also an option, especially if a serious traumatic event occurs that involves her. Anyone who has some panic attacks knows how they can take your breath away and/or make it hard to breathe, so maybe it’s all that is happening here.
The critically acclaimed series returns to its last season. Don’t miss the three-episode premiere of Andor, which streams only April 22 at @disneyplus. pic.twitter.com/d5kyqz2vmfMarch 24, 2025
But I’ll take off. Andor Season 2’s latest trailer also contains an ominous call back to Rogue One‘s own trailers – and no, I’m not talking about the many characters intended to appear in Season 2 and which also show up in Rogue One.
In fact, I’m talking about the spine-cooling siren that can be heard throughout this teaser’s nearly 90-second run-up. Okay, Klaxon said can only be heard once Rogue One‘s official trailer (at the 1:10 -mark, to be accurate), but it is nonetheless a fun little Easter egg that further strengthens the ties in between Andor and its movie siblings.
