After a very short thought that we could be looking for anything to do with ships today, I immediately discovered poker before I struggled to get something else.
I love card games, but it’s funny how you’re stuck by playing Big Two or Black Jack or, ERM Snap Depending on your family and friends, so several of the day’s answers were new to me. I look to learn euchre that sounds like excellent fun.
Our latest family occupation is the mind, which is a kind of card game, but not really. The idea is to put cards marked 1 to 100 down in order without seeing or knowing what anyone else has. It is non-competitive, but strangely convincing, and you will know yourself that you can read your mind. Not that anyone wants to read mine unless you are interested in donuts floating in the room.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
