I managed to get the green group today and thought it was something to do with astronomy (Orion’s belt, Holmdelhornet, Errr some wheel …), which is a little ridiculous when you consider how obviously the right answer (parts of a car) was.
When I talk about, just to tell you, if I ever become president of the world, the first executive order I will sign with my gigantic pen will be that car owners will only be allowed to use their horns five times a year. I feel that this will radically cut down on rage and force people to use them only when it is important, rather than harassing cyclist/nose pickers on traffic lights/other road users/people sleeping at.
Meanwhile, in touch made contact by phone me to think of all the glorious songs about the analog age on telephony when you had to remember people’s numbers or have them written down on a match book or at the back of your hand – the classic of this surprising huge song topic is Operator (that’s not how it goes) by Jim Croce, but there are plenty of others. Today you don’t have to know anyone’s number to call them, but you would be pretty trassy of technological advances if you still gave them a dial.
How did you do today? Tell me that in the comments below.

What are new connections?
New Connections is one of several increasingly popular word games made by the New York Times. It challenges you to find groups of four objects that share something in common, and each group has another level of difficulty: green is light, yellow a little harder, blue often quite hard and purple usually very difficult.
On the plus side, you do not have to technically solve the last one, as you can answer one by an elimination process. In addition, you can make up to four errors, giving you a little bit of breathing room.
However, it is a little more involved than something like Wordle, and there are plenty of opportunities for the game to get up with tricks. For example, be careful on gay and other word games that can hide the answers.
It can be played free of charge via the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
