New -Connections Today (Play #746) – The Answers

The answers to today’s connections, game #746, is …
- Yellow: Components in a salad Cheese, dressing, salad, protein
- Green: kind of machines Enigma, pinball, sewing, sale
- Blue: Legal dramas Injuries, Goliath, Matlock, Suits
- Purple: Ends with playing cards Bojack, Hawking, Lovelace, McQueen
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 1 Error
I want to say that I saw four words ending with playing cards, but I thought I made up a group of famous Stephens. This was entirely based on Hawking and McQueen. I guess at Bojack, but my only mistake came when I chose Matlock instead of Lovelace.
In the meantime, I’m sure today’s connection debate will be overcomponents in a salad – a category that can include many things, such as tomato, cucumber, celery and actual salad, but cheese? Is cheese so ordinary a salad function to guarantee to be a component?
I was glad to see vending machines in the middle of kinds of machines. It is definitely one of life’s great joys to buy something from a vending machine and see two things instead of it bought a clunk down the bucket.
There is, of course, the equal annoyance of putting in your money and nothing coming out-at what time you should resist trying to put your hand in the machine, Homer Simpson style, and just remember that life is a balance between gains and losses. And also to let go.
How did you do today? Tell me that in the comments below.
Yesterday’s new -connections Reply (Wednesday, June 25, Game #745)

- Purple: Birds minus last letter Cran, flaming, hero, rave
What are new connections?
New Connections is one of several increasingly popular word games made by the New York Times. It challenges you to find groups of four objects that share something in common, and each group has another level of difficulty: green is light, yellow a little harder, blue often quite hard and purple usually very difficult.
On the plus side, you do not have to technically solve the last one, as you can answer one by an elimination process. In addition, you can make up to four errors, giving you a little bit of breathing room.
However, it is a little more involved than something like Wordle, and there are plenty of opportunities for the game to get up with tricks. For example, be careful on gay and other word games that can hide the answers.
It can be played free of charge via the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
