New -Connections Today (Play #732) – The answers

The answers to today’s connections, game #732, is …
- Yellow: Stay cozy Kos, embrace, snuggling, happen
- Green: Gossip Buzzing, dishing, wasting, whispering
- Blue: To participate in an activity with pins or needles Acupuncture, Bowling, Sewing, Wrestling
- Purple: Start with titles DOCTORING, LORDING, MISSING, SIRING
- My rating: Moderate
- My score: 1 Error
All _ing words in the grid created for a very confusing game today, but a few of the groups were also designed to confuse.
Getting cozy was elementary enough, but I struggled to put together the green group.
Properly, it thought it was about gossip, I included a doctorate as I think of this as a sentence of making things up, which is what most gossip is (invented by PR’s in favor of their client or by journalists in favor of their number).
On my other walk on it, I only included buzzing because of the guarded gossiped buzzfeed site, not because I had ever heard of the expression buzzing. Every day is a school day.
Next, I knew that acupuncture and stitching were connected and then the connection with bowling straps, but it wasn’t until the game was long over that I realized why wrestling was part of the group, thanks to the many different types of PIN movements from Gannosuke -Coupling to Oklahoma Roll (yes, I look at Wikipedia).
How did you do today? Tell me that in the comments below.
Yesterday’s New -Connections Reply (Wednesday June 11, Game #731)

What are new connections?
New Connections is one of several increasingly popular word games made by the New York Times. It challenges you to find groups of four objects that share something in common, and each group has another level of difficulty: green is light, yellow a little harder, blue often quite hard and purple usually very difficult.
On the plus side, you do not have to technically solve the last one, as you can answer one by an elimination process. In addition, you can make up to four errors, giving you a little bit of breathing room.
However, it is a little more involved than something like Wordle, and there are plenty of opportunities for the game to get up with tricks. For example, be careful on gay and other word games that can hide the answers.
It can be played free of charge via the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
