The answers to today’s connections, game #695, is …
Yellow: Silence Calm, Hysj, peace, still
Green: Tennis Competition Units Play, match, set, tournament
Blue: Relatively small Baby, compact, minute, toy
Purple: Start with Synonyms for “Tease” Kidney, Mockingbird, Razzmatazz, ties
My rating: Easy
My score: Perfect
I thought there was a group about teasing today, but in mine I had toys and baby rather than the smart collection by starting with synonyms for “tease”.
I love that the connections contain this kind of word game, I just wish I could see it easier.
I got today’s groups in order of difficulties, which always makes me feel an inner sense of peace. Silence words came quickly; My only doubt was initially to think that they had something to do with meditation and that the set belonged to the gang.
Tennis competition units were also easy thanks to the referee’s pronunciation of “games, sets and matches” that were permanently etched on our brains, whether we like tennis or not.
Personally I am in and out. I like the rage of the rage more than the actual games.
How did you do today? Tell me that in the comments below.
Yesterday’s new -connections Reply (Monday 5 May, Game #694)

What are new connections?
New Connections is one of several increasingly popular word games made by the New York Times. It challenges you to find groups of four objects that share something in common, and each group has another level of difficulty: green is light, yellow a little harder, blue often quite hard and purple usually very difficult.
On the plus side, you do not have to technically solve the last one, as you can answer one by an elimination process. In addition, you can make up to four errors, giving you a little bit of breathing room.
However, it is a little more involved than something like Wordle, and there are plenty of opportunities for the game to get up with tricks. For example, be careful on gay and other word games that can hide the answers.
It can be played free of charge via the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
