I was on the right track today, but my mistake came to add odd and even to yes and no instead of true and false. After getting nowhere, I changed the lanes and completed the quiz.
It feels a while since we’ve had such a straightforward connection game, so I’m annoyed at my silly mistake. I am surprised that opportunities for binary questions were not classified as the most difficult group as roulette settings were much easier.
I have a 100% record with roulette after playing just once at a casino in the UK and won once.
It was only a small amount, but I’ve seen enough movies and TV shows with roulette wheels to know that the number was stacked against repeating my luck and I would come into a spiral of crime, divorce and chronically ill health if I had been playing. Paying these chips was possibly the most sensible thing I’ve ever done.

What are new connections?
New Connections is one of several increasingly popular word games made by the New York Times. It challenges you to find groups of four objects that share something in common, and each group has another level of difficulty: green is light, yellow a little harder, blue often quite hard and purple usually very difficult.
On the plus side, you do not have to technically solve the last one, as you can answer one by an elimination process. In addition, you can make up to four errors, giving you a little bit of breathing room.
However, it is a little more involved than something like Wordle, and there are plenty of opportunities for the game to get up with tricks. For example, be careful on gay and other word games that can hide the answers.
