New Hampshire follows President Donald Trump’s executive order to ban transnry athletes to compete against girls and women.
Prior to order, the order exposed the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association according to New Hampshire Public Radio exposed to athletes and their districts on their eligibility.
But the association turned the course and referred to a potential lack of federal funding.

“In the light of this development, NHIAA has heard with legal adviser and decided that it would be cautious to clarify NHIAA’s demands,” wrote associate director Jeffrey Collins further, adding that schools have a responsibility to “comply with the state’s and federal laws.”
WCAX noted that a statement from the Department of Education “Roses[ed] New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association to change his policies that allowed students to play on a team that matched their gender identity, not biological sex. “
Former New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu signed the state’s justice in women’s sports law in July, but a lawsuit filed by the families of Trans athletes followed and remains active.
In the case, the New Hampshire Act Sununu signed, violating constitutional protection and federal laws because teens are denied equal educational opportunities and discriminated because they are transient.

Trump promises to cut off federal funding to Maine over rejection of complying with ‘no men in women’s sports order’
Teenage -Case Fæks, Parker Tirrell and Iris Turmelle originally filed the trial Last year to challenge the law. Earlier this month, a federal judge met a request to add Trump administration to the list of defendants because of the president’s recent executive order.
The situation involving the two transient athletes also led to another trial after parents had bracelets that said “XX” with reference to the biological female chromosomes and allegedly banned from the school grounds.
Trump signed “No Men In Women’s Sports” executive order 5 February, which banned any federal funding for educational institutions that allow biological men to compete for women or girls sports teams.

New Hampshire was already one of 25 states with a law in place to enforce a similar ban on the integration of transgender, but Tirrell and Turmelle have nevertheless been allowed to compete for girls’ team due to a decision by a federal judge in their state .
Representatives from California, Minnesota, Massachusetts and Maine have all said that they would continue to follow the state law and ignore Trump’s order, which has resulted in title IX investigations.
