For me, it is an absolutely devastating watch, even before he has seen a single episode, from the victims even to the questions that still plague a society three decades later. However, I know it will be an important piece of TV, which means that it is very much about to be the best crime series of the year.

When you are someone who likes to binge real crime series pretty regularly (like me), you can often be caught by fanfare by it all. When one episode ends, a tantilizing cliffhanger is constructed for you to continue to see the next one, and nine times out of ten, it is successful editing. This means that you can often forget the human element of what you see, which can even lead to documentaries created for the wrong reasons. All this is something though Yogurt shop murder avoids immediately.
The death of 13-year-old Amy Ayers, 17-year-old Eliza Thomas, 17-year-old Jennifer Harbison and Jennifer’s 15-year-old sister Sarah is obviously still such a shock to the residents of Austin-You would have a heart of stones that should not be overwhelmed by their crude in their grief. At the time of the incident, Jennifer and Eliza just tried to get through a shift at work, with the younger two girls waiting for a lift home in front of the store after it closed. An hour before, a man was allowed to use the toilet in the back of the store, with the alleged that the back door was jammed in the process.
When the first respondents arrived at the place about an hour after closure, they all found four victims each with a gunshot wound upside down. The fact that there was so much organization and control in the process proposed to officials that the suspect was an adult, with Robert Springsteen, Michael Scott, Maurice Pierce and Forrest Welborn, all of whom are later suspected of being involved. Scott and Springsteen were released from prison in 2009 after their conviction, with Springsteen’s conviction, which was originally reversed in 2006.

For many viewers, the new HBO Max show will be the first time they have heard largely from the affected families and friends, or maybe even heard about the matter at all.
At its core, this is exactly what real crime shows should be created – to give a voice to those who no longer have it while bringing a wider sense of attention. It’s weird to say, but I look forward to finding out more about the people who are remembered rather than the crime, even if I am moved to tears in the process.
