- We have also heard again that the iPhone 17 Pro Max may have a smaller dynamic island than its predecessor
One thing, most iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max leaks seem to agree is that the design is changing. But now another possible design has come.
In his cover Tech YouTube show, Jon Prosser, a delicious with a mixed track record, has shown a strange looking iPhone 17 Pro Camera Layout, with the lenses arranged in the same triangular pattern as on the iPhone 16 Pro, but they are on a large Black camera camera with empty space in the middle and flash to the right. You can see how this looks below.
It is a strange, undoubtedly ugly design, and one that does not quite match the previous iPhone 17 series design leaks, though there are some similarities. Both this and previous leaks showed a camera line that ran the full width of the phone, but the bar was much narrower in previous leaks, which means the lenses would have had to run horizontally along it.
We will say that the previous leaks look better, but as a prosser notes in the video, they come with a problem, as having lenses arranged horizontally along the bar could get in the way of the phone’s face -id components. So he thinks that for Apple to have a horizontal camera bar, it would either have to be the house further down the back of the phone, or be more like the one he shows here.
According to Prosser’s sources, this is the latter design that Apple is actually using, but despite the claims of the Prossers, we would take this with a serious side of salt. As mentioned, Prosser has a mixed track record for leaks, and this design looks like a former sketch shared by Majin Bu – another delicious with a mixed track record – and like Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who has a much better hit rate to break Apple News, claims are “false.”

Further complicating things are the fact that Apple may well have prototypes in multiple designs, so it’s not impossible that all these leaks are correct, in as much as Apple can test these ideas but if any of them will be used For the final iPhone 17 Pro -Design is yet to be seen.
For the time being, we are skeptical of Prosser’s claims as they are in violation of most sources, but it is not impossible that this is what we see and it would at least make it look less like a Google Pixel.
Changes too in front of
And while it is mostly the back of the iPhone 17 Pro – and probably also iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Max – which is likely to change the chat station (via Gsmarena) that claims that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a smaller dynamic island than its predecessor.
This is apparently achieved by reducing the size of the components, and this is not the first time we have heard that a smaller dynamic island may be planned – but not all sources agree that the dynamic island will be smaller, so we too we ‘D Take with a pinch of salt.
Interestingly, Digital Chat Station added that the same smaller dynamic island design will also be used with the collapsible iPad when Apple launches one, and with a future iPad Pro model. So Apple could change the design of a great deal of its products.
