Two men who are assumed to have ties to a series of burglaries in the United States, including at a famous Pro -Aatletes Home in Ohio, were arrested on Tuesday, officials announced.
Dimitriy Nezhinskiy and Juan Villar were charged with “for conspiracy to receive stolen property related to their purchase of stolen goods traveling across state lines,” the eastern district of New York said in a news message. The two men will be arranged on Wednesday.

Nezhinskiy from North Bergen, New Jersey and Villar of Queens, New York, was accused of having served as “fences” for South American -based crime groups traveling around the United States to commit burglary aimed at luxury articles. The two were accused of being linked to the “productive burglar” Bryan Leandro Herrera Maldonado, as officials said committed 16 burglaries in the United States between 2019 and 2020.
Officials said that Nezhinskiy was linked to at least two members of a crew allegedly involved in December 9, 2024, burglary in a “high -profile athlete in Ohio.” Sources told Pakinomist Channel that the athlete in question is Cincinnati Bengals Star Quarterback Joe Burrow.
Law enforcement authorities made a search for a peasant shop the two men who allegedly operated in the New York City’s Diamond District. Authorities “seized large quantities of suspected stolen property, including dozens of advanced watches and jewelry. Law enforcement also recovered large quantities of cash and marijuana,” officials said.

Another search statement was performed in a storage facility in New Jersey that allegedly belonged to Nezhinskiy. Officials said “Large quantities of luxury goods and clothing, including advanced handbags, wine, sports morabilia, jewelry, art and power tools that were in line with those often used in the burglary and opening of safes” were regained.
Nezhinskiy was arrested in New Jersey and Villar was arrested in New York, officials said.
The arrests came weeks after four Chilean citizens were arrested in connection with the burglary to Burrow’s home on December 9, 2024. At the time of arrest, the authorities found “an old LSU shirt and Bengals -Hat, which is believed to have been stolen from December 9, 2024 Burglary in Hamilton County, Ohio, “This is where Burrow’s home is located.
The search for the vehicle were the suspects in also discovered “To Husky Automatic Center Punch tools wrapped in a clothing towel.” The tool has been used by the South American theft group, according to authorities.
Burrow’s home was broken down while he was in Dallas against cowboys. Police were called Burrow’s home by Olivia Ponton, a model and social media influencer who were identified as Burrow’s employee of the event report.
Burrow discussed the burglary a few days after its occurrence during a media availability in which he emphasized the difficulty of living a life where his personal information is in the public’s eye.
“So of course everyone has heard what has happened. I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one. And way is more already out there than I wanted out there and that I love sharing, sharing, So that’s all I have about it, ”Burrow started.
