Marvel has released one last trailer for his Thunderbolts* film
The new teaser focuses square on Lewis Pullman’s guard post
It confirms that the superhero’s dark alter-ego will be the big bad of the film
Well, Marvel doesn’t hide it anymore. When it rams up its marketing campaign to Thunderbolts* The cartoon Titan is no longer COY about the film’s big bad.
Admittedly, it wasn’t anyway. Anyone who has kept tabs on the last Marvel -Phase 5 film development since January 2024 will know who its most important villain would probably be. With each new round of admission, it has become more and more obvious who it will be.
While Thunderbolts ‘Official trailer strongly suggested that its primary antagonist would be someone you expected to be a good guy, but its latest teaser, as you can see below, just comes out and says it.

The film’s latest trailer confirms the titular band with misfits, and disgraceful heroes will face the void, also known as the dishonest altar-ego from Lewis Pullman’s Bob Reynolds/Sentry. Heck, Pullman’s mentally unstable superpower is even saying “I’m the void” in the teaser, which is such a good confirmation as anyone.
It sounds like Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes and Company have also got their job carved. Pullman’s Reynolds informs them “There is no need to fight” him before CIA Director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine calls him “invincible, powerful [and] Stronger than all Avengers rolled into one. “
If the planet earth had an extremely powerful human being available, it raises the question: Why was he not called upon to help Avengers try to prevent Thanos from wiping out half of all life in the universe in Infinity War ?
Based on how scary the void seems to be, it would not have been worth the risk. It is made clear when he threateningly says “You have no idea what I am able to … maybe I should show you”. Is there anyone else who gets torn down their spine?

Either way, Reynolds/Sentry/The Void will stay around in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for longer than many Marvel villains. In fact, he was advertised as part of the first 27-strong role of role that was announced for Avengers: Judgment Day At the end of March. So even though we don’t know how the named rague -tag group will actually ‘defeat’ guard/void, he will make it out of this movie alive and play an active role in that Marvel -Phase 6 -Flick.
Will you spoil anything else before Thunderbolts Crossing in Theaters on May 1 (UK) and May 2 (everywhere else), Marvel? I hope not. While we wait for the Disney subsidiary’s next big screen project to arrive, you need to get the latest on it via my dedicated hub at Marvel’s Thunderbolts film.
