We left the last Mission: impossible Movies with an unresolved mission: Stop ‘The Unit’, a strong AI, from loosening destruction throughout the world. And it is not certain that this second rate – the eighth and apparently last movie in Mission: impossible Franchise – will have a happy ending.
Could this be the end of Ethan Hunt’s run in life as well as the end of the line of the film franchise? It certainly looks like this, with the trailer, which strongly suggests that Hunt’s Luck is running out. But in view of the billions that Mission: impossible Movies have made, somehow, I doubt the study wants this mission to end without the least possibility of a future resurrection.
According to director Christopher McQuarrie, stunts in this movie “melt your brain”-and especially a stunt will be more anxious than anything you’ve seen in the series before. “I really want to puke and think about the stress,” McQuarrie told Empire Magazine. “It was intense.”
Mission: impossible – the final calculation will be in theaters from May 23, 2025, before eventually becoming one of the best paramount+ movies to stream.
