- New gadgets from Motorola could be on the way very soon
- Moto Watch Fit seems to match the Apple Watch
- There are also some Moto Loop earlobes in the leak
Motorola is best known for its smartphones, as far as consumer gadgets go, with more flip foldable on the way later this month, but it seems that the company is also busy working on a cheap competitor to Apple Watch and some wireless earplugs.
This is according to a new leak from the well -known tipster @evleaks, which has sent a photo showing “Moto Weat Fit” and “Moto Loop Earbuds”. We do not get other details here, such as pricing or a potential launch date.
Motorola has deep in both of these product categories before, with devices such as Moto Watch 40 and Motorola Moto Bud+, but the two gadgets shown in this leak appear to have some differences from what we have seen before.
Especially loop ear plugs look like a break from the norm with open, circular stems. This is Motorola, they are definitely cheap and offer lots of value for money, but they are unlikely to offer the highest levels of soundfidelity.
Taking Apple Watch
Judging by the appearance of Moto Weat Fit, with its square screen and its fabric strap, this is designed to go head to head with Apple Watch-might specifically Apple Watch SE 2, starting from $ 249 / £ 259 / AU $ 399.
Motorola’s latest smartwatch, Moto Watch 40, was launched last year: It has a high, rectangular 1.57-inch screen, up to 10 days of battery life between charges, and features such as heart frequency monitoring and sleep tracking.
You can pick up Moto Watch 40 for about $ 65 / £ 65 / AU $ 150 at the time of writing, so Moto Watch Fit would do very well to undermine that price. It can be significantly more expensive while staying cheaper than the best Apple watches.
Given the screen, we can look at Moto Weat Fit in this leak, it seems that Motorola will again go with its own custom software for the laptop. As with previous models, it must be compatible with both Android phones and iPhones.
