If the last decade of cinema has taught us something, it is that Ryan Gosling and Science Fiction go together as salt and pepper. Already have contributing to like First man and Blade Runner 2049The Canadian actor’s next space -hazard epic will be Project Hail Mary – And it seems that it will be a dazzling sight that goes by the first glimpse we have had.
The first official poster for the upcoming film confirms a March 20, 2026, Release date and a talented role crew with Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a fallAt The interest zone) and Milana Vayntrub (The second place, This is us) set to play with Gosling.
Instructed by Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Vers Duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, Project Hail Mary is an adaptation of the 2021 novel with the same name by American author Andy Weir, who concentrates on a schoolteacher-facing astronaut who wakes up from a coma to find that he is the last surviving member of a crew being sent into space to gene the sun.
The novel is a gripping side-tourer, mainly because of the way the story takes place: Because the protagonist wakes up without reminding why he is millions of miles away from the ground in a spaceship, the story develops piece by piece that I do not doubt will do to grab the cinema.
Weir also wrote The Martianwhich was adapted to a 2015 movie with the same name of Ridley Scott, so it is safe to expect similar WFS (work from space) vibber from Project Hail Mary.
In consideration of that The Martian Was such a huge success – it received widespread recognition and has 91% on the rat tomatoes from both critics and the audience – many (your really) have high hopes that this will be another huge hit.
In fact, Weir knows how to write a compelling story, and to see that this is the second novel that Hans, to be adapted to a movie, bet it will be just as good, especially considering that another A-List star will be in the lead role.
Ryan Gosling is also ready to join the Star Wars universe as a whole new character in the upcoming film Star Wars: Starfighter, Which is expected to be released in theaters in May 2027, so this is not the only sci-fi movie he has been working on.
Project Hail Mary will be released in theaters on March 20, 2026.
