- A delicious claim that Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 will have the same storage and RAM amounts as their predecessor
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 could get a new Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset
- A previous leak from the same source suggests that prices for these phones will be unchanged
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series was highly expected, but with the debatable exception of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, these phones did not become very significant specific upgrades -and it seems the same could be the case for this year’s Galaxy Z models.
According to Leaker @pandaflashpro (via Gsmarena), the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will have 12 GB of RAM and a choice of 256 GB or 512 GB of stock, 512 GB and 1TB configurations.
These are exactly the same specifications as Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 have, so these rumor new phones don’t sound like much of an upgrade.

Larger screens and more power, but little else
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 can at least have a good chipset, with the source added that it will use a Snapdragon 8 Elite One globally, like the Galaxy S25 series. But the Galaxy Z -Flip 7 may not even get it, with this source not mentioning its chipset, and a previous leak pointing to a less promising Exynos 2500.
Unfortunately, a recent Galaxyclub report also claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will have the same cameras as its predecessor, namely a 50MP head, 12MP ultra and 10MP front-facing camera.
So from what we have heard so far, it seems that very little will be upgraded on these phones than their chipset. And in the case of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, it may not even be the chipset upgrade we want, as Samsung may choose a smaller capable option than the top level Snapdragon 8-Elite used in its current high-end phones.
Still, an early leak suggested that the next Galaxy Z models could at least have bigger screens than their predecessor, and fortunately they may not get a price increase that goes after a previous claim from @pandaflashpro. So it’s not all bad news.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 are likely to be announced in July, so we should know exactly what they are capable of back then, but keep an eye on further leaks and rumors in the meantime.
