NEW Strands today (game #719) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #719, are…
- HARD
- COARSE
- ROUGH
- RADIING
- STITCHED
- ABRASIVE
- SPAN FRAME: SAND PAIR
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 1 tip
Stupidly, I thought today’s theme had to do with westerns. To demonstrate how off course I was, I found sand and paper to be non-playable words and didn’t think for a second about putting them together.
Fortunately, a hint sent me in the right direction and I was able to find the many words that describe an uneven surface.
If this collection of words – not all of which could be applied to SANDPAPER – made you feel uncomfortable, you’re not alone and suffer from trypophobia, the fear of rough, uneven or potholed surfaces. I’ll use that excuse the next time I need to grind something.
