NEW Strands today (game #705) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #705, are…
- EYES
- CHEEKS
- NOSE
- BRYN
- MOUTH
- HAIRLINE
- FOREHEAD
- SPANGRAM: FUNCTIONS
- My assessment: Easy
- My score: Perfect
Apart from the rare bottom-to-top spangram, this was a fairly straightforward search for facial features.
Although that said, after eliminating the obvious EYES, CHEEK, NOSE, BROWS AND MOUTH, I was left with a large chunk of space and the inability to see the two remaining words.
After some epic staring, I finally got the HAIRLINE and FOREHEAD figured out – the two most common features to change in cosmetic procedures. As someone with a rapidly receding hairline and clefts forming in my wrinkled forehead, I consider both when my lottery winnings arrive.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Thursday, February 5, Game #704)
- CITIES
- SENSES
- OCEANS
- VOWELS
- TOES
- DAYS OF THE WEEK
- SPANGRAM: GIVEMEFIVE
