NEW Strands today (game #691) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #691, are…
- NAIVE
- COLD
- GLOWING
- BELIEVABLE
- ARTLESS
- SPANGRAM: BORNYESTERDAY
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 2 hints
Another tough game today that took me ages to complete.
Fortunately, words without puns were much easier to spot, so I picked up a tip to get me started, but it was far from easy. After going GULLIBLE, I struggled to think of what words would be next, so I got another hint.
Most of these words seem to be things older people might say to insult young people, as if being world-weary is their superpower. In this regard, I consider myself timeless – as well as ARTLESS.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Thursday, January 22, Game #690)
- HAPPINESS
- ECSTASY
- CLEAN UP
- EUPHORIA
- RHAPSODY
- SPANGRAM: SEVENTHHEAVEN
