NEW Strands today (game #635) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #635, are…
- COIN
- FOUNTAIN
- LADY HEN
- STAR
- Dandelion
- EYE LAMP
- SPANGRAM: MAKEAWISH
- My assessment: Hard
- My score: 1 tip
The theme was pretty vague, so unsure of the kind of word I was looking for, I gathered non-play words and took a hint.
After getting COIN I immediately spotted FOUNTAIN and initially thought we were searching for word pairs after seeing the spangram MAKEAWISH.
There are an incredible number of things that we consider to bring us luck and, in turn, bad luck.
I remember spending hours looking for a four-leaf clover as a child, thinking this would be my path to a random life.
I’m equally damned about believing dozens of signs of bad luck and can’t pass a skate without saying hello, can’t spill salt without throwing something over my shoulder, and will walk into oncoming traffic instead of under a ladder.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Thursday, November 27, Game #634)
- LIFE
- FRIENDS
- FAMILY
- FOOD
- COMMUNITY
- WORK
- HEALTH
- SPANGRAM: THANK YOU
