NEW Strands today (game #764) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #764, are…
- EDGE
- EXTREMITY
- BRINK
- PRECEDENCE
- MARGIN
- LIMIT
- SPANGRAM: EXTERNAL BOUNDARIES
- My assessment: Hard
- My score: 1 tip
Thinking “fringe” was some kind of hair-based pun, I was sure “trim” would be my first word.
Instead, after getting EDGE after a hint, I quickly discovered that the theme referred to the EDGES of things (also the name of a great 1990s sci-fi series).
The strange thing about Strands is that a little kickstart is all you need to see all the other words you’re looking for, a feeling that simultaneously makes you feel smart for spotting them all in the middle of the letter soup, and stupid for not spotting them initially.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Sunday, April 5, Game #763)
- KANGAROO
- CAR CITY
- KOALA
- WOMBAT
- OPOSSUM
- SPANGRAM: IN PROGRESS
