“Palette Episodes” was a bit of a vague theme, but it quickly became clear that we were looking for color.
The TV part came to me later when I ended up splitting the game in half and getting the colors first and then the second word of the relevant classic TV show – although I’m not sure if BLUE BLOOD belongs in this reputable company.
It’s been a while since we’ve had a Strands that mixes the blue and yellow palette, and it’s always a strange treat.

Strands is the NYT’s not-so-new-anymore word game, following Wordle and Connections. It’s now a full-fledged member of NYT’s game stable that’s been running for a year and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
